Program Completion Stories

Utah Meth Cops Project reaches new Milestone !

July 8, 2009

We completed our 50th police officer on the detox program today!

Here's what he had to say:

"No headaches, sleep great, acid reflux gone, irritability gone, neuropathy in arms gone, joint pain gone, more energy, think more clearly, memory sharper, fingernails look a lot better [they had black spots and ridges], flexibility got better, not as much anger.

My wife says I am now a social butterfly. My wife has 6 sisters in her family of 8 women. Last 10 days her whole family was out here. I visited a lot with all of them where before I would have excused myself.

Anxiety is gone. Acne on my back is clear. Vision has gotten better. Taste and smell is now amazing. Chemical taste is gone. I now have a general overall feeling of wellbeing. When I leave here I feel great."

I worked meth labs from 2000 to present. I estimate that I entered around 175 illicit labs. There is no doubt that my health started declining after the exposure, even though I didn't realize what was causing the decline at the time.

When I started the program I was very anxious. I was unable to complete tasks or concentrate on what was needed to be done. I also felt like I was covered by a dark cloud

TH – Retired officer
I have an overall feeling of "wellbeing" and "cleansing". I have a desire to get things done,  not just float through the day. My blood work shows improvement and my blood pressure has in fact improved significantly. I sleep better and feel rested in the morning.
